Volunteer with us

Ivyland Fire Company is always looking for dedicated volunteers to proudly serve their community. 
If firefighting isn't for you, we have other volunteer postitions that are just as important.

Being a volunteer FireFighter

Being a volunteer firefighter is one of the best ways to serve your community.  The fire service is very diversified, we have people from all different walks of life.  In Pennsylvania volunteerism in the fire service is dropping, creating the possibility for a crisis.  You are the only ones who can resolve that issue.  We need hardworking men and women like yourself to step up, and proudly serve the community.  The Ivyland Fire Company is always looking for volunteers. 

Application

1. Download the application - 2. Fill it out in full - 3. Bring it to the fire company on any Monday night between 7PM-9PM -

Volunteer Positions

  • Fire Fighter | Qualifications: Ages 18+. Must be able to work as part of a team that is passionate about community and always learning. 
  • Jr. Fire Fighter | Qualifications: Ages 14-17 with parent consent.  Same as Fire Fighter. Train with a Mentor and the Fire Fighters to get ready to ride the trucks at 18. 
  • Fire Police | Description - Fire Police keep the fire fighters, fire scene , and community safe. While Fire Fighters work a scene, the Fire Police close the roads and perform crowd control.  They are sworn members of the Borough's police department.
  • Administrative | Description - If being a first responder isn't for you, helping plan and run events to supporting the fire company is an equally important part of our mission.
